This portrait of my granddaughter explores the beauty of deep shadows and subtle highlights, moving beyond traditional soft pastels to create a more expressive and intimate piece. Inspired by a lesson from @colbyasanford via @karabullockart, I followed his four-color palette but added my own touch with alizarin red, enriching the depth and emotion of the painting.
