This painting is a master copy of Dancers in Pink (1876) by Edgar Degas, created in admiration of his iconic impressionistic style. Degas’ ability to capture movement and light has long inspired me—I even had prints of his ballerinas in my childhood bedroom. In this piece, I aimed to stay true to his composition, color palette, and expressive brushwork, paying homage to the grace and energy of his dancers.
 
This artwork is a celebration of Degas’ genius and my deep appreciation for his work, recreated with careful attention to detail and reverence for the original.
